Coffee Luwak @ Epicentrum, Jakarta

An Industrialized version of the coffee warehouse, the design intention explores the combination of raw materials to create an ambiance where the customers can enjoy a good cup of authentic coffee luwak. This design explores the use of recycled bricks, old timbers and industrial metal pipes as the main materials and design idea. The “spider” inspired light fixtures overhangs the main space to light up space, creating a visual excitement from the glass frontage. Other materials closely reflect their actual beauty to reflect the authenticity of the products sold in the café. The flooring webs out from the focal point, the coffee counter toward the whole space to enhance the light fixture idea.
